    Classes start at 9am and finish at approximately 3pm. This class is offered every Saturday during the month of December. The menu for this hands on cooking class is inspired by the Island of Capri using fresh produce from the Barossa Farmers Market, local farm gates and our fish monger in Adelaide: Antipasto: "Focaccia di Recco" delicious fresh focaccia baked with a layer of fresh cheese in the middle, served with salad from the Farmers Market Fresh pasta: "Pansotti di Patate" is the classic filled pasta from Liguria, this version filled with local steamed potato, olive and marjoram, served in Paris Creek butter and Parmigiano Reggiano Gnocchi: beautifully soft potato gnocchi with Pesto "alla Genovese" (basil pesto) & steamed green beans Dolce: Mousse al Caffe, a delicious coffee mousse made with espresso coffee, mascarpone cheese & local cream served with an orange tuile baked "a la minute" (to order) After the class you will be seated in the Enoteca and dine on the wonderful dishes you have just prepared with a glass of European wine and D'Angelo coffee. In this hands on cooking class you will learn the history & master the art of making pasta with 4 fresh pasta recipes (different doughs) such as Tortelli di Erbette (ricotta & spinach), Casarecce with Sugo “alla Norma”, Spaghetti alla Chitarra & Cannoli Siciliani

    Classes start at 9am and finish at approximately 3pm. This class is offered every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month. In this vegetarian cooking class you will prepare a 4 course menu from the entree to the dessert. As with all Matteo’s classes the major focus will be on mixing, kneading, rolling and cutting the fresh pasta and making the gnocchi. You will all work together to prepare the entree and dessert. The menu will be inspired by seasonal produce available at the Barossa Farmers Market and our neighbours at Barossa Cheese Company. A sample menu: Entrée: Piadina Romagnola a delicious flat bread which will be served with local fresh cheese and sauteed swiss chards or spinach Gnocchi: Soft pillows of potato gnocchi or ricotta gnocchi Fresh Pasta: Ravioli filled with roasted pumpkin served with melted local butter & sage Dessert: Nonna Pia’s Creme Caramel After the class you will be seated in the Enoteca and dine on the wonderful dishes you have just prepared with a glass of European wine and D’Angelo coffee.
