Private Classes

We offer private classes for groups of 6 or more for our daytime classes (9am to 2pm) and 8 or more for evening classes (3pm to 8pm), we are happy to create customised menus on request. Private classes are fantastic for team building sessions, groups of friends, family reunions, birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, as well as hens parties. We now also offer larger private classes for groups of 14 guests or more at the beautiful Yalumba Winery.

Please note that our school rules state that wine will be served once the cooking component is completed.

From our experience we also recommend not organising a large dinner following the class as most guests feel like a rest and then something light after a morning of cooking & the long lunch!

To book a private class please contact us directly.

Philosophy

Matteo’s philosophy is to teach recipes that can be easily replicated at home so you can prepare these wonderful dishes for your friends and family. Whether a beginner or confident in the kitchen, classes are small intimate groups to ensure you get the most out of the experience.

Participants of Saturday classes are invited to join Matteo for a tour of the Barossa Farmers Market where you will meet the wonderful producers and collect ingredients for your class. You will have time to visit the rest of the market before meeting Matteo back at Casa Carboni.
