Slim pickings from the garden for the Enoteca tables tonight!

Beautiful new storage tubs / hampers from @uashmama 🇮🇹. These are so lovely, available in 2 sizes and 3 colours: brown, grey & dark grey.

Slide across to see the little feet underneath. Perfect for organising shelves at home, the office or holiday accommodation.

The last slide are the new Porta Pane or bread bags, for serving at the table. We have 4 different colours with contrasting linen covers (sewn in to the tops and with a drawstring).

They took a few months to be made but our new order of the beautiful @uashmama bags & Tuscan butchers aprons have arrived from Lucca in Tuscany!!

The aprons are made from heavy stone washed Italian cotton and have 3 deep pockets, adjustable (and detachable) washable paper braces that cross over at the back for comfort. We have a range of colours with contrasting coloured braces.

Wine bottle bags, carry bags, coin purses, bread bags with linen drawstring covers, all in natural tones. But we also have a bit of bling!! The metallic range is back with a small selection of totes, carry bags & coin purses 👛

Lemons 🍋 are in abundance at the moment and I may have made a batch of lemon cakes just to have an excuse to devour some more of this delicious lemon curd made by a friend 😬

Apologies the Enoteca will be closed to the public today while we manage the kids school holidays! The cooking school is running as usual for those booked in at 9am.

A big shout out to the coaches at the Barossa Swim Club for their patience & persistence at keeping this one in the pool the past couple of years, she has turned a big corner this year and loves it, and is having fun at the iswim country clinic this week at Immanuel College.

I’ll be back behind the bar at 9am tomorrow (Friday) after I drop off in the city.

Growing up fast, I can’t quite keep up!

Sunday night, it’s leftovers for dinner from today’s lunch service! Delicious South Australian Tommy Ruffs “in Saor” on toast 😍 thanks to our fish monger for the beautiful fish, these fillets were tossed in flour, pan fried and then marinated in hot vinegar with celery, carrot, onion & bay leaf. Served chilled on crostini this was divine thank you Matteo…

Sharon Grigoryan, such a fabulous performance last night in Tanunda!! This was the only concert that could go ahead in the 2 day program for the Barossa Baroque & Beyond micro music festival for 2021.

Un-amplified, by candlelight, amazing acoustics… Bach cello suites 1, 2 & 3.

This is an incredible festival, held every October long weekend. If you would like to come next year, jump on their website and sign up for the newsletter (of which there will only be one or 2) to announce the up coming concerts.

Thank you @marg_lehmann & friends for bringing such a beautiful event to the region for us to all enjoy.

Private Class available Sunday 31st October

We have had another private cooking school cancellation due to border closures, on Sunday the 31st of October. Before we add the date to our calendar we would like to offer it for a private group.

Please contact us directly via phone or email if you would like to book in. Minimum number of 8 guests.

Select from any of our available menus to create your delicious 4 course long lunch!

Classes commence a 9am with coffee & cake! Then it’s in to the kitchen for 3 hours of cooking together & chatting. Lunch is served leisurely, one course at a time paired with 2 wines selected to suit your menu.

Coffee is served with dessert while you relax with your friends, family or colleagues!
